Lago Bino, with its oval and regular shape, lays at the foot of an elliptic depression. In the summer, the lake is covered with vegetation. Its banks are rocky and covered in gravel due to the smashed stony slopes overwhelming the lake. Its level changes dramatically throughout the year, almost by becoming a water puddle in the hottest period of the year. The land is left to meagre grazing, with spots of coppice and scree slopes of volcanic origins.
