The first solo exhibition in an Italian institution of the artist Valentina Furian (Venice, 1989).
The artist’s project focuses the forms of power in the relationship between animal and human being, starting from Mochi’s equestrian sculptures in Piazza Cavalli in Piacenza. With this exhibition, the project “Sul Guardare” opens up to the theme of public art, also establishing a long-distance dialogue with the Civic Museums of Palazzo Farnese.
After Massimo Grimaldi with the Galleria d’arte Moderna Ricci Oddi, Berlinde de Bruyckere, Carol Rama and Andrea Sala with the Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio, Valentina Furian continues the dialogue with the artistic heritage of Piacenza.
