The unique territory of Isola Serafini, strongly characterised by the presence of the River Po, is home to a Land Art project.
Fluvius Art
When: from 4 October 2025, opening at 4 p.m.
Where: Isola Serafini
The Land Art project, by the “Non Capovolgere Arte Contemporanea” Association and strongly supported by the island’s inhabitants, features five sculptures by artists Romano Bertuzzi, Candida Ferrari, Lorella Salvagni and Alberto Vettori.
The idea is to create a path where the works of art interact with the unspoilt nature of the island, the largest in the River Po and the only one inhabited.
Fluvius Art was therefore inspired by the river, the concept of flow, and the idea of accompanying the resources of an unpredictable nature with new perspectives. The route focuses on a path of about 2.5 kilometres in the area called “Boschetto”.
The project aims to promote other local attractions such as the fish ladder, the museums of Rocca Pallavicino Casali and the cultural sites of Monticelli d’Ongina and the neighbouring villages.
