The 2026 edition of “Stralunà,” an event dedicated to contemporary circus, comedy, and music, will take place in Piacenza on September 19 in the streets of the city center, with Piazza Cavalli as its focal point.

La Danza sui Trampoli (Dance on Stilts)
When: 6:00 p.m.
Where: Starting from Piazza Duomo
An all-youth troupe—already among the top contenders for major street events—will bring color and magic from a central square in Piacenza through Via XX Settembre toward Piazza Cavalli. This will be followed by a performance in Piazza Mercanti.
The artists from Corona-Events, skilled dancers, present various choreographies at a more visible height thanks to the use of stilts: pas de deux, custom choreography, and acrobatic dance, all adapted to different musical styles.
Le farfalle(The Butterflies)
When: 8:45 p.m.
Where: Starting from Corso Vittorio Emanuele II
A performance featuring bodies like elegant butterflies, majestic on their stilts, with a striking visual impact, moving from the corso to Piazza Cavalli.
The artists’ movements are true dance steps, becoming the means to tell a magical story and ensuring the performance’s high quality.
The costumes, self-illuminated and technically self-contained, have a maximum wingspan of four meters; this, combined with the use of stilts, makes the performers clearly visible in any situation.

A performance by the Compagnia dei Folli that deeply engages all the senses, where fire itself is the absolute protagonist, shaping the entire narrative.
On stage, a series of breathtaking dance-theater choreographies unfolds, touching on myths, stories, and legends involving fire—from Prometheus to the Phoenix to Vulcan.
