I Bersani, a little village in the municipality of Gropparello, it’s a lovely village located on the hills of Vezzeno Valley. Recently the village is known as ” The fairy-tales village”, and is a aim for many hikers and tourists.
Why it’s titled ” The fairy-tales village”
All of the old houses on the main street of the village are wall-decorated with the characters of the most popular fairy-tales: Pinocchio, Snow white, Cinderella, The Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland.
This particularity creates an unique colorful and joyful atmosphere, much loved by kids and it’s considered a perfect place to visit for an hiking tour.
The idea
The idea came from Arte Nostra association, which managed to involve local artists and the residents through a great artistic promoting project.
During winter time, it’s organized the well known “Nativity scene at Bersani”. All over the village the residents show many cribs from different sizes, while some other natural size puppets rebuilt in the public spots the most important Christmas scenes, like the nativity of Jesus, the arrival of the three kings and more.
