The vicarage was created in 1962 but the real chiurch was built only in 1972 by the engineer Francesco De Benedetti and the architect Giovanni De Benedetti. It has an octagonal plan, 1200 seats and develops above all horizontally; the presbyterium is in a higher position and is outlined by a tyburium which is over the whole complex. Here there are sculptures by Paolo Perotti (holy table, lectern and cathedra) and by Luciano Fornasari (tabernacle door). In the vicarage there is a painting by Franco Corradini representing a Dead Jesus.
