It’s the oldest church in the village, it rose before the year 1000 on the remains of a medieval building; it’s in romanesque style and it has got a Latin cross plan.
Until 1770 it had three naves with round pillars and wooden trussing, afterwards the romanesque elements were substituted by neoclassical elements: a dome was built and other two naves were added.
