Its construction started in 1300, on an area characterized by Roman and Longobardic architectural remains . Before being consecrated to San Fiorenzo, it was dedicated to San Bonifacio.The structure has three gothic naves, with a tripartite façade modified at the beginning of 1900 and surmounted by spires.It’s got a beautiful central rose window and a wide portal with firebrick decorations. The main apse contains interesting Lombard frescoes dating back to the period of construction of the church; ornaments and vestments and the main altar are by Panini.
