It’s close to Pallastrelli, along the Arda’s right bank , and is maybe one of the first chapels built in Castell’Arquato. It should date to the same period as Castellarquato’s parish church . The witness of its antiquity is probably the dedication to Mary Magdalen, whose culpt was very common from the 4th to the 9th century. The beautiful chapel, made of stones and brick, has a very simple structure: it’s a quadrangular building, with a hut roof, two slim one-mullioned windows splayed on one side and a semi-circular apse.
