La Faggiola is an old courtyard from the beginning of the XX century. It’s located in Gariga near Podenzano village, not so far from Piacenza.
The building is protected and it is an important monumental value; since 2006 it got many renovation works, made possible through a collaboration with the Superintendence of the Environmental and Architectural Heritage.
Thank’s to these renovation works, the old courtyard La Faggiola is nowadays shining with a new life. First of all it’s well known as a space for the advertisement of the food products of the land. It’s a space for different kind of use too.
In the inner part of the courtyard there is “La Faggiola Ostreria” and the “Bottega dei Fratelli Pavesi” where it’s possible to enjoy the different flavors of the food culture of Piacenza land.
Many are the events organized and hosted in this place during the year, for example the Bleech Festival, a music festival which is happening in the beginning of September.
