The collection is exhibited in the basement of the 18th century Villa Braghieri. The set is constituted of more than 200 pieces which add to the numerous peasant tools abandoned in the recent centuries.
In the archaeological section there are various fossils and fragments of artefacts from Roman and Medieval period.
The exhibition continues with craftsmen tools, coins from Regno d’Italia and the Repubblica, and old toys. It is particularly interesting a complete series of ancient measuring shapes used in Piacenza for solids. Finally, it is worth taking a look at a set of photographs from the Thirties and Forties illustrating the various agricultural activities, and old postcards from Castel San Giovanni.
