Valente Faustini’s name is used as a title to the dialect poetry of Piacenza Award. Since many years the Association “Familia Piasinteina” awards a prize to the best writings attained.
Faustini represents the most important poet of the dialect literature of Piacenza.

His literatural work is collected in seven books, edited by Guido Tammi. His ‘Opera Omnia’ reveals the wide range of issues he analysed in his own land: love, sufference, habits, poor life in Piacenza, together with his personal family life.
In Corso Garibaldi n° 77 ( old name Via del Del Guasto)a plaque it’s still existing, which remembers the place where the poet was born.
