The Vine and Wine Museum is in Vigolzone, La Tosa village, within La Tosa farm house, and it wishes to recreate the atmosphere of an old wine cellar.
The Museum was built in 1995 by exhibiting several pieces, all dating back to the period between the end of 1800 and 1930 found in Piacenza province, in order to show to the public the ancient wine production techniques. Currently the collection counts 300 pieces more or less.
The exhibiting path is divided in small sections illustrating the different production phases with objects accompanied by a written description. A room hosts a library with almost 900 volumes about vine production and wine tasting, all from the 18th and 20th centuries.
