Free admission exhibition dedicated to the Emilian Apennines. The exhibition is the result of the convergence of two experiences: Alessandra Calò‘s artistic residency in the Emilian Apennines, presenting ‘Rogazioni silvestri -Erbario Mistico d’Appennino‘ (Sylvan Rogations – Mystical Herbarium of the Apennines), a journey that combines photographic images with the poems of Mara Redeghieri, and Sergio Ferri‘s photographic research “Terre alte” (High Lands), which uses photography to explore the Piacenza Apennines in its human and everyday forms.
In the vision of curator Enrica Carini, the Apennines become a syllabary of words, images and feelings, an entire language that speaks of roots and abandonment, villages and isolation, memories and desires.
The exhibition is presented as a multidisciplinary journey, an experience through which visitors can approach a miniature forest made up of small trees, seeds, leaves and undergrowth plants, and at the same time a space in which to pause, reflect and recount what the Apennines mean to each visitor.
