One hundred characters representing ancient trades populate the nativity scene in the small village of I Bersani di Gropparello, also known as ‘The village of fairy tales’.
Every year, Mila Risoli and Marisa Magnani, with the help of Arte nostra and volunteer helpers, create the magic of the nativity scene along the village’s central street, where the outside walls of the houses are adorned with murals narrating traditional fairy tales and fables: from Cinderella to the Tin Soldier to The Fox and the Stork.
The exhibition can always be visited by standing along the road through the village and remains on display until 6 January 2026.
