Val Tidone International Music Festival is back: from June until November 2025 16 free concerts.
Born in 1988 it carries music all around the valley, through the castles, theaters, villas, squares and in the most suggestive corners of the Val Tidone and the city of Piacenza.

The Festival hosts both world-renowned artists and young talents, while the Val Tidone International Music Competitions, sees hundreds of young musicians from all over the world meet in Piacenza.

The project includes also some masterclasses (Val Tidone Summer Camp), workshops and listening guides (Val Tidone Music Hours).

Bengalli Prize 2025 – winners’ concert

When: Sunday, June 1, 2025, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Piacenza, Auditorium of the Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano, via Sant’Eufemia, 12
The “Enrica Prati” Audience Prize will also be awarded on the occasion. Buffet at the end

Stochelo Rosenberg – Salvatore Russo – Gipsy Trio

When: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Piacenza, Palazzo Rota Pisaroni – Via Sant’Eufemia, 13
The manouche guitar of Dutchman Stachelo Rosenberg for 30 years finds in Russo an expert counterbalance that is complemented by Camillo Pace’s bass.

Irish sunset – Folkamiseria

When: Saturday, June 28, 2025, 8 p.m.
Where: Calendasco, Guado di Sigerico, (Palazzetto dello Sport in Calendasco in case of bad weather)
A group formed in 2007 with the aim of bringing energetic and engaging folk music to pubs, without sacrificing the rock impact that still characterizes them, Folkamiseria present a repertoire that ranges from Ireland to Piedmont in the area of folk music.

Blues for Pino – Osvaldo Di Dio

Versatile Concert – Antonella Ruggiero

When: Tuesday, July 1, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Rottofreno, Loc. San Nicolò Piazza Togliatti
Accompanied by Roberto Olzer on piano and liturgical organ, Roberto Colombo on vocoder and bass synth, and Ivan Ciccarelli on percussion, one of the most versatile voices on the international scene, who has spanned the last forty-five years of Italian music offers her most famous songs as a soloist and with Matia Bazar.

Ronnie Jones Blues Band

When: Friday, July 4, 2025, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Alta Val Tidone, Loc. Trevozzo, Piazza Giovanni XXIII
American musician who has worked in Italy with Arbore and Boncompagni offers a concert with a band composed of Michele Fazio on piano, Fernando Tovo on guitar, Silvia Preda on bass and Gino Carravieri on drums.

Plato’s Cave – Live Tour by Enrico Ruggeri

When: Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Castel San Giovanni, Piazza XX Settembre
Ruggeri presents his new album released last January.

Laura Fedele Quartet Plays Ray Charles

When: Saturday, July 12, 2025, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Piozzano, Piazza dei Tigli(postponed in case of bad weather)
Laura Fedele traces the career of Ray Charles, through big hits, hidden gems, anecdotes and quotes.

Max De Alor Quartet Feat. Filly Lupo

Where: Ziano Piacentino, Castle of Luzzano
A concert that moves between the traditional tango of Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla’s Nuevo tango, through famous pieces from the jazz repertoire and original compositions

I wish it was love – Tribute to Mina

When: Saturday, July 19, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Pianello Val Tidone, Piazza Umberto I
Silvia Mezzanotte and the ensemble Le Muse, a women’s orchestra just back from “Tribute to Morricone- Music from Oscar,” conducted by maestro Andrea Albertini offer a concert dedicated to the great voice of Mina.

Femmes Fatales

When: Tuesday, July 23, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Gragnano Trebbiense, Frazione di Campremoldo Sotto(postponed in case of bad weather)
A show featuring Violante Placido in the guise of singer and songwriter. 10 songs will be covers specially arranged with the complicity of her exceptional band – composed of Piero Monterisi, Sebastiano Forte and Dario Ciffo – closing with some original songs from her records and her latest single ‘Tu stai bene con me’.

The Verdi Session

Sergio Cammariere Feat. Giovanna Famulari

When: Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 9:15 p.m.
Where: Gazzola, Borgo di Rivalta (in case of bad weather, the concert will be held in Rivalta Castle)
Giovanna Famulari’s cello and Sergio Cammariere’s piano and voice join forces for a concert that marks a new collaboration between the Val Tidone Festival and Summertime in Jazz.

An Italian Saturday 40 Show

Concert by Pablo Y Luna group copmposed of Davide Borra (accordion), Giulia Subba (violin), Mattia Floris (guitar and vocals), Alberto Santoru (double bass and percussion)

All concerts are free admission subject to availability.
In case of postponement due to bad weather to a date to be decided, the new date will be communicated on the website and through the social channels of the Val Tidone Musica Foundation and the media.
