In mountain bike through Veleia Romana – Rustigazzo – Croce dei Segni – Veleia RomanaTHE TRACK: The itineray enables to visit Veleia, one of Italy’s most important archeological sites, which keeps being excavated . The first nucleus dates back to the Iron Period;during the Roman time Veleia was the main town of a vast mountain area. Ruins of the forum, Basilica, thermal baths and of some inhabited quarters, still remain.Proceeding along the track, you’ll reach Parco Monte Moria, a wide wood area with prairy, beech-tree woods, coniphers and orchards.
