The Papa Giovanni Paolo II Park, also konwn as Galleana Park, is fenced and is open in the morning till sunset. It is just outside the city centre, at the beginning of the Trebbia Valley.
It has an area of 150.000 square metres, of which 100.000 are green lawns.
You can find toilets, walking trails and pathways through the woods for hikers and mountain bikes, three fountains and a series of info points along the trails to help you recognise some aspects of animals and trees in the Park. There is alsa a bar with a roof terrace.
