Getting to Piacenza by car, motorhome and tourist bus
From Milan and Bologna A1 exit Piacenza sud or Basso Lodigiano; from Turin A21 exit Piacenza ovest and from Brescia A21 exit Piacenza sud.
To reach the historic center:
- from the Piacenza Sud exit,
keep right and take Via Caorsana, passing in front of the town cemetery and going over the overpass, turn right again and enter Via Colombo. When you reach the Lupa monument, keep right and reach the train station. Continue to Piazzale Milano (Pontieri Monument), turn left and continue along Viale Risorgimento and park in Cittadella Square. (map) - From the Piacenza Ovest tollbooth,
at the roundabout, turn left onto Via Emilia Pavese. This long stretch ends with another roundabout, turn left again and take the city ring road, reaching the Pontieri Monument and pass by the Renaissance walls, turn right again, entering Viale Risorgimento and park in Piazza Cittadella.
