{"id":38053,"date":"2022-07-30T12:25:23","date_gmt":"2022-07-30T10:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/arte-e-cultura\/luciano-ricchetti\/"},"modified":"2025-07-17T17:17:28","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T15:17:28","slug":"luciano-ricchetti","status":"publish","type":"arte-e-cultura","link":"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/art-and-culture\/luciano-ricchetti\/","title":{"rendered":"Luciano Richetti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luciano Ricchetti was born in Piacenza in 1897, where he died in 1977.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>His studies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>His career began at the <a href=\"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/art-and-culture\/istituto-gazzola-art-gallery\/\">Gazzola Art Institute<\/a> in Piacenza (1908-1909), later he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan, where he actually won the Award &#8216;Bozzi Caimi&#8217; for the best head.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Luciano Ricchetti and his art<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In Milan he learnt the modern flair of the &#8216;900, through which he will work during his long career. He used this artistic flair moving on to his personal vision. Actually this was the attitude which helped him to be a master of the Piacenza Land, where actually he decided to settle and shuttle himself off.<br \/>\nThanks to the &#8216;Premio Cremona Award&#8217;, received by Luciano Ricchetti in 1939, he reached the success. After the exhibitions at the Biennale of Venice in 1932, 1940, 1942 and 1950 he receveid a lot of praises.<br \/>\nIn 1934 he got the award for the &#8216; first regional syndical of Emilia &#8216;. The art piece through which he got the award it&#8217;s titled&#8221; Modelle&#8221;, at that time it was placed insiede of the Modern Gallery Ricci Oddi.<br \/>\nRicchetti was not only a painter but even a fresco painter and a sculptor. Insiede of the Borsa Gallery, in Piazza Cavalli Square and in some different palaces of the town it&#8217;s still possible to find some of his artworks.<\/p>\n<h3>Commemoration<\/h3>\n<p>In 1967 the Association of Piacenza &#8216;Amici dell&#8217;Arte&#8217; decided to celebrate in its headquarters an important review exhibition to understand and look at his long and rich artistic career.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Luciano Ricchetti was born in Piacenza in 1997, where he died in 1977.
