It&#8217;s one of the most typical and popular dishes of Piacenza.<\/p>\n<p>Every village has its own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valnure.info\/en\/recipes\/recipe_bortellina_of_bettola_burtlena_sc_442.htm\">recipe<\/a>, so there are several delicious variations.<br \/>\nThe recipe of <a href=\"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/places\/bettola\/\">Bettola<\/a>, which gained De.Co. recognition, looks like a golden, crispy and puffy fritter. It&#8217;s prepared with flour, water and yeast and cooked with lard in a pan.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s delightful when it&#8217;s warm, together with typical pruducts from Piacenza, such as coppa, salame, pancetta and cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Because of its poor ingredients, Bortellina bettolese has ancient origins.
