From 18th to 21st September 2025 the multidisciplinary festival dedicated to the arts of dance and choreography opens various locations inside the city centre.<\/p>\n

Collaborating with AI: dance for the screen for transdisciplinary artists<\/h3>\n

\nGabriela Tropia, lecturer at the prestigious Central Dance (duration 30 minutes) Saint Martin’s School in London, invites artists from all disciplines (dance, video, music, visual arts, theatre) to explore, using their mobile phones, the relationship between the body, moving images and emerging artificial intelligence technologies.
\nIn collaboration with XNL Musica \/ Conservatorio G. Nicolini.

\nThe rationalist architecture of Liceo Gioia provides the backdrop for Marcello Malchiodi, a young dancer and choreographer from Piacenza who graduated from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan. Inspired by two of the best-known Greek myths, Malchiodi explores the dramatic feeling of inadequacy experienced by individuals in relation to society.

\nFrom among the many entries received from all over the world, we will award the author of the best dance film, who will have the opportunity to start a future collaboration with dAS Festival. Presented by Eleonora Marzani, project coordinator, accompanied by Gabriela Tropia, jury president.

\nAlessandro Pontremoli (DAMS Turin) returns to dAS FESTIVAL with a dance conference that directly involves the audience, offering a glimpse into the past to bring us closer to dance today, a varied world of languages in constant transformation.

DanceFloor Kids – children and families workshop<\/h3>\n

\nWhere<\/strong>: Manicomics space, Via Scalabrini, 19
\nMartina Francone’s workshop involves parents and children (or grandparents and grandchildren) through play, movement and contact. Accompanied on this occasion by
\ndrummer Simone Tecla, Francone lets participants experience how their bodies can become instruments of support, stimulation and discovery for each other through touch, weight, balance and gravity in relation to space.

\nProf. Alessandro Pontremoli (DAMS Turin) and Raffaella Lezoli (Pagine Libreria) draw a parallel between dance and post-war American literature. They thus introduce us to Fabrizio Favale’s Danze Americane, a show that will follow.

\nHow do you create a dance show? In a lecture\/performance, choreographer Fabio Liberti asks the audience to share ideas and make decisions that influence his creativity and the movements of his dancers. The result is a participatory creation.

\nSev Ka, a Polish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Glasgow, takes us by the hand and guides us through the night on a hypnotic and sensual journey of voice, loop machines and synth bases in the ancient greenhouse of Palazzo Ghizzoni Nasalli.

Breakfast with Satie<\/h3>\n

\nGian Francesco Amoroso and Benedetto Boccuzzi tell us about Erik Satie, one of the most original composers and artists of the 20th century, to prepare us for the closing concert, Satie ici r\u00eave<\/em>, on the centenary of his death. Accompanying the morning, in an exquisitely Dadaist spirit, is a tasting of French-style mini pastries offered by La dolce dispensa<\/em>.

Tour of the external space of the palace<\/h3>\n

\nProfessor Valeria Poli (Liceo Cassinari) accompanies us on a journey of discovery through one of Piacenza’s most spectacular historic residences, whose monumental staircase becomes the backdrop for the dance performance that follows.<\/p>\n

Lingua<\/em><\/h3>\n

When<\/strong>: Sunday 21 September, 5 p.m.
\nWhere<\/strong>: Palazzo Somaglia, Via Taverna Giuseppe, 41
\nWhat is the mission of the performance? In a ritual of intimacy, closeness, empathy and similarity, Chiara Ameglio invites the audience to write on her skin. In this game of connection and transmission from the bodies of the spectators to that of the performer, their mutual roles are reversed.
