{"id":57674,"date":"2025-12-16T12:42:20","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T11:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/events\/events-and-exhibition-at-xnl-piacenza\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T15:00:04","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T14:00:04","slug":"events-and-exhibition-at-xnl-piacenza","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/events\/events-and-exhibition-at-xnl-piacenza\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond the clouds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Palazzo XNL Piacenza hosts a series of events linked to current exhibitions and the activities of FareCinema and Bottega XNL Fare Teatro, and organises events in collaboration with other organisations in the city.<\/p>\n<p>For spring-summer 2026, the visual, sound and theatrical arts come together for a single project:<\/p>\n<h3>Oltre le nuvole\/Beyond the clouds<\/h3>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: from 2 April to 5 July 2026<br \/>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: XNL Piacenza, Via Santa Franca, 36<\/p>\n<h3>The exhibition<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Opening hours:<\/strong><br \/>\nTuesday to Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00<br \/>\nFriday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, 10:00 to 20:00<\/p>\n<p>An exhibition comprising paintings, sculptures, site-specific installations and film sequences explores the theme of clouds in their visual and symbolic dimensions.<br \/>\nThere are 18 artists featured in the exhibition: Olivo Barbieri, Leandro Erlich, Laura Grisi, Jeppe Hein, Dominic Kiessling, Laetitia Ky, Piero Manzoni, David Medalla, Filippo Minelli, Marie-Luce Nadal, Mauro Pace, Gabriele Picco, Marco Ricci, Martin Romeo, Denis Santachiara, Mario Schifano, Fausta Squatriti, Alfred Stieglitz and Storyville.<\/p>\n<h3>The sound journey<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Opening hours:<\/strong><br \/>\nTuesday to Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm<br \/>\nFriday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, 10 am to 8 pm<\/p>\n<p>Accompanying the site-specific installations on the ground floor, a multi-channel audio system diffuses the sound compositions. These sounds evoke natural forces, sidereal vibrations and invisible dimensions, inviting the public to transcend the physical boundaries of the exhibition space and imagine what lies beyond thought, beyond the clouds.<\/p>\n<p>The project, curated by Gianmarco Romiti and produced in collaboration with the Nicolini Conservatory, includes an experimental audio installation by composer S.
