Here you can taste traditional dishes from the Great River: from <em>anguilla affumicata<\/em> (smoked eel), to <em>stricc&#8217; in carpion<\/em> (soused fish), fried ambolina (a sweet water fish), catfish and frogs.<br \/>\nOf course, Piacenza province areas also offer cheese such as <a href=\"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/food-and-wine\/grana-padano-dop\/\">Grana DOP<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/visitpiacenza.it\/en\/food-and-wine\/provolone-valpadana-dop\/\">Provolone Valpadana DOP<\/a>, Cacio del Po.
