The track, known by Piacenza hikers as “L’anello dell’Alta Valnure” (the ring of High Nure Valley), is clearly signalled thanks to the work of some passionate members of the local Club Alpino Italiano, who took the path clean and welcoming for tourists.
\nTHE TRACK: Selva (mt.1110), Costa della Piovarissa, Pertuso (mt.1022) n.019 ITINERARY : Pertuso (mt.1022), Rompeggio, Retorto, Selva (mt.1110) The itinerary starts in Selva. Once passed by the old village, take the bridle path on the left through which you’ll cross Rio Croso and the Nure stream, which here is very little and rich in small waterfalls. After passing several depressions you’ll meet the fairy tale chestnut-grove known as “Bosco dei Foppiani”. After fording several streamlets you’ll reach the beginning of the ascent leading to Pertuso Guadati . In the middle of the typical apennine village take N 019 CAI’s path that descends in the fields and leads you close to Rompeggio.Here you’ll have to ford the stream as you can (the possibility of creating a handrail to make ford easier is being considered) . You’ll meet an interesting, abandoned mill . Here the final part of our itinerary starts: a steep ascending path through the woods will lead the hiker first to Retorto (950 m) and then to Valnure’s trunk road.
