Access to Vigoleno’s village is through the same gate that witnessed, throughout the centuries, the passage of soldiers in armour, ladies and knights. In the past centuries the door was supplied with a drawbridge and several defense devices on the high walls.Objects of interest here are the rivellino, i.e. the brickwork element built in front of the gate to defend the entrance and ease the exit of the soldiers, and also the entrance tower and the high donjon.
