The Ricci Oddi Gallery of Modern Art, in collaboration with the Friends of Art Association of Piacenza and ISREC – Institute of Contemporary History of Piacenza, presents the exhibition:
BOT the Affrican

Curated by Eugenio Gazzola, BOT the Affrican showcases works from the artist BOT (Barbieri Oswaldo Terribile)’s “colonial” period, some of which are previously unpublished.
The exhibition includes a selection of paintings, collages, wooden and bronze sculptures, photographs taken from staged African village scenes created in collaboration with Piacenza photographer Gianni Croce, graphic notebooks, artist books, poetry collections, commemorative postcards, and magazines. The works come from private collections and the Ricci Oddi collection.
