Stele del venator, foto: wikipedia

Inaugurated in 1975 at the ground floor of a small building built at Maria Luigias time, it illustrates, by means of meaningful material and a wide didactic support, aspects of Veleias artistic and material culture as well as the importance these remains have for Cisalpine town planning.

Very interesting remain is a mould of Tabula Alimentaria Traianea, the biggest roman inscription known, with the names of Veleias (and bordering territories) landowners. It dates back to the beginning of the 2nd century B.C.

Moreover there are remains of a bearded man figure made in local stone, maybe representing Giove(god); plaster copy of a bronze table about Cisalpine Gaul law: a wide fragment of a legislative text. Furthermore there are: a funerary stele, an inscription commemorating the basilica construction, a tondo with inscription, a plaster copy of venators marble honorary stele, a polichrome mosaic with a theatre mask and a frame decorated with a geometrical pattern
