When: 16 April – 18 June 2023
Where: Volumnia, Stradone Farnese, 33

The exhibition intends to focus on some aspects that link different areas of Franco Albini‘s work, from architectural design to furniture.
An introductory area is dedicated to the relationship between the architect and the territory of Piacenza. The second part let the visitor enter into the heart of the matter by taking the observer into the world of Franco Albini’s furniture, through the display of numerous historical pieces, including the Luisa armchair, Compasso d’oro 1955.
The proposed reading is intended to emphasise and analyse the poetic inspiration that characterises the designer’s approach to architecture and design projects.
On display will be some pieces from the 1930s from private collections that have never before been exhibited to the public.
