They were born in 2007 with the aim of bringing folk music to pubs without sacrificing rock impact. Their repertoire has always been varied, but Folkamiseria’s real strength is the spirit and approach with which they offer their music, for the engaging arrangements and charged live shows.
TRIO STEWART, DAMEI & LOMBARDI
When: Saturday, July 23, 9:30 p.m.
The trio was formed in 2021 from a collaborative idea between Scottish musician Calum Stewart and two musicians from the band Fourth Moon and Elír, David Lombardi (Italy) and Jean Damei (France). Calum Stewart is one of the most sought-after and established bagpipe and flute players in Europe. David Lombardi and Jean Damei are established musicians in the European folk scene through their contemporary folk music projects. The three decided to join forces and collaborate to create an energetic new trio with an engaging sound that features a mix of traditional Irish and Scottish songs and original compositions.
