Andy White solo concert

Poet, singer-songwriter and writer, Andy White is a leading figure on the Northern Irish cultural scene and one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary singer-songwriting. He has collaborated with major international artists, including Peter Gabriel and Sinéad O’Connor. In Piacenza, for the first time, he will perform an intimate concert for voice and guitar, in which music and words tell the story, tensions and identity of a people.
Markus Stockhausen new quintet

An exclusive preview in Piacenza for the new project by Markus Stockhausen, internationally renowned composer and trumpeter, considered by critics to be one of the leading figures in contemporary music. The quintet brings together musicians of excellence: Fabrizio Ottaviucci on piano, a leading interpreter of minimalism, Annie Barbazza on vocals, Fabio Mina on flutes and electronics, and Fabrizio Savoretti on percussion. An evocative concert that explores the poetics of instant composition and presents, in its first performance, the album Between Earth and Sky, already eagerly awaited in major international music venues.
Fred Frith in concert

Fred Frith is a central figure in international contemporary and experimental music, often described by critics as the “best living guitarist” for his ability to reinvent the instrument. Composer, teacher and founder of historic groups such as Henry Cow and Art Bears, he has collaborated with artists such as Robert Wyatt, Mike Oldfield and The Residents. In the concert in Piacenza, the guitar takes centre stage in a journey of sound that encompasses improvisation, timbral exploration and unexpected musical visions. An unmissable event, with possible surprise guests.

Another date dedicated to the guitar played in contemporary forms and sounds. The young artist is now considered one of the most significant voices on the new ambient scene, capable of creating evocative musical landscapes and atmospheres of intense beauty. With soundscapes, pastel tones and original musical compositions, the concert offers an immersive experience that combines research, emotion and experimentation.
Iztok Koren and Raphael Roginski

In an exclusive preview in Piacenza, Iztok Koren, the creative force behind the group Širom, presents a new project together with musicologist and guitarist Raphael Roginski. Koren’s folk and ritual roots meet the cultured and experimental research of one of the leading figures in contemporary guitar. The result is free and timeless music, capable of blending tradition and avant-garde in an intense and original sound experience.
The Necks

A unique date in Italy for the return of The Necks, the legendary Australian cult trio. Their music, difficult to define as avant-garde, jazz, minimalism or ambient, is considered unique in the contemporary scene and followed with great attention by international critics. Their recent album Disquiet, voted best album of 2025 by numerous specialist publications and celebrated by magazines such as The Wire, confirms the exceptional nature of their career. Chris Abrahams (piano and keyboards), Lloyd Swanton (double bass and bass) and Tony Buck (drums and percussion) create an intense and unpredictable sound experience, based on refined improvisation that makes the trio one of the most original on the global experimental scene.
