The Consortium for the protection of the D.O.C. wine from the Appennine of Piacenza, was founded in 1986, thank’s to the chamber of commerce of the town, upon the initiative of 19 producers without any profit-making.
The aim of the association was mainly working on two directions.
By the permission of the Agricolture Minestry, got it in February 1992, the association is protecting, checking and supervising on the wine production.
Another purpose of the Association is to manage enhance and promote with specific and well thought marketing actions the D.O.C. Wine from the Appennine of Piacenza.
