Piacenza Alimentare Consortium was established in 1980 thanks to an initiative of the local Chamber of Commerce. Its aim was to promote the activity of small-medium enterprises in the agro-food sector and help their internationalisation and export activity.
The consortium includes more than 50 enterprises which produce Grana Padano PDO, Provolone Valpadana PDO, cured meat PDO, typical DOC wines and other quality controlled products.
